William E. Sessing

Br. William E. Sessing, SJ, died peacefully February 6, 2008 in Regis Infirmary at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, Los Gatos, California. He was 89 years old. Born in Rochester, Minnesota, on June 21, 1918, Bill entered the Society of Jesus at Sacred Heart Novitiate in Los Gatos on July 12, 1948. He pronounced final vows on August 15, 1959, at Loyola High School in Los Angeles, California. May he rest in peace.

All members of the California Province and those applied to it are to offer or celebrate one first intention Mass and members of the Jesuit Community at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center and those attached to it but living elsewhere (cf. 2008 Catalogus USA, pgs. 37-38) are to offer or celebrate one additional first intention Mass for the repose of Bill’s soul.
