Requiscat In Pace: Father John G. Ferguson, S.J.

Father John G. Ferguson, S.J., died unexpectedly Sunday, March 21, at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos, California. He was 90 years old. Born in San Francisco, California, on July 23, 1919, Jack entered the Society of Jesus at Sacred Heart Novitiate in Los Gatos on August 14, 1941. He pronounced final vows on October 24, 1979, at St. Mary's Church in Ogden, Utah. May he rest in peace!

All members of the California Province and those applied to it are to offer or celebrate one first intention Mass and members of the Jesuit Community at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center and those attached to it but living elsewhere (cf. 2010 Catalogus USA, pgs. 36-39) are to offer or celebrate one additional first intention Mass for the repose of Jack's soul.
