Requiscat In Pace: Ronald J. Sanfilippo, S.J.

Father Ronald J. Sanfilippo, S.J., died unexpectedly Friday, January 30, in Silver Spring, Maryland.  He was 61 years old.  Born in San Jose, California, on April 7, 1947, Ron entered the Society of Jesus at Sacred Heart Novitiate in Los Gatos, California, on September 7, 1965.  He pronounced final vows on March 19, 1987, at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona.  May he rest in peace.

All members of the California Province and those applied to it are to offer or celebrate one first intention Mass and members of the Jesuit Community at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center and those attached to it but living elsewhere (cf. 2009 Catalogus USA, pgs. 37-40) are to offer or celebrate one additional first intention Mass for the repose of Ron’s soul.
