Fr. James Schall, SJ, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 12:50pm at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos, California. He was born on January 20, 1928 in Pocahontas, Iowa, entered the Society of Jesus on August 14, 1948, and was ordained on June 7, 1963. He pronounced his final vows on August 15, 1966 at Alma College in Los Gatos, California. Fr. Schall, SJ was a Jesuit for 70 years.

March 6, 2020 — Fr. James A. Rude, SJ, a Jesuit priest whose ministry ranged from the high school classroom to the parish church to direct social action, died March 5, 2020 in the infirmary at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, Los Gatos.
February 18, 2020 — When Fr. Arturo Sosa, SJ, the leader of the Society of Jesus, made his first trip as Superior General to the Jesuits West Province from Jan. 31 to Feb. 13, he spent part of his first full day with the Novices in Culver City, California.
