Jesuits West Appoints Two New Superiors for Jesuit Communities
June 24, 2019 — Fr. Scott Santarosa, SJ, Provincial of Jesuits West, has appointed Fr. Stephen Lantry, SJ, as superior of the Ravalli Jesuit Community in Missoula, Montana. Since January 2019, Fr. Lantry has served as an associate pastor at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Missoula. Fr. Lantry succeeds Fr. Richard Perry, SJ, who served as superior at Ravalli for the past four years.
Fr. Santarosa has also appointed Fr. Ignatius Ohno, SJ, as superior of the Bellarmine Jesuit Community in Tacoma, Washington. For the last several years, Fr. Ohno has served as assistant rector at the Arrupe Jesuit Community in Seattle and as the Province Delegate for Permanently Retired Men. Fr. Ohno succeeds Fr. John Fuchs, SJ, who has served as interim superior at Bellarmine since January 2018.
