Requiscat In Pace: Father John J. Perlite, S.J.

Father John J. Perlite, S.J., died Thursday, March 25, in Regis Infirmary at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos, California, after a lengthy illness. He was 91 years old. Born in San Francisco, California, on November 6, 1918, John entered the Society of Jesus at Sacred Heart Novitiate in Los Gatos on July 30, 1936. He pronounced final vows on August 15, 1953, at Sacred Heart Novitiate. May he rest in peace!

All members of the California Province and those applied to it are to offer or celebrate one first intention Mass and members of the Jesuit Community at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center and those attached to it but living elsewhere (cf. 2010 Catalogus USA, pgs. 36-39) are to offer or celebrate one additional first intention Mass for the repose of John's soul.
