Today, Peter Claver, SJ, is the Patron Saint of Colombia. He is revered for his compassionate love of neighbor, spreading the Faith, respect for human dignity and work in overcoming racial barriers and hatred. Fr. Andrew Rodriquez, SJ, retreat facilitator and spiritual director at The Jesuit Retreat Center of Los Altos, is the author of the prayer.
