Father William R. Stoeger, SJ, astronomer at the Vatican Observatory, died March 24 in Regis Infirmary, Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, Los Gatos, Calif., after a struggle with cancer. He was 70 years old and had been a member of the Society of Jesus for 52 years.
Father George V. Kennard, S.J., died February 27, 2014 at Regis Infirmary, Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, Los Gatos, after a brief illness. He was 94, a Jesuit for 76 years, and an ordained priest for 64 years.
Father Anton J. “Sam” Renna, S.J., a beloved teacher, mentor, and spiritual and life guide at Brophy College Preparatory School for 45 years, died Friday, August 9, in Regis Infirmary at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos, California, after a lengthy illness. He was 79 years old.
Fr. Andrew Francis Maginnis, S.J., a Jesuit for 73 years and an ordained priest for 50 years passed away after a brief illness on March 17 in Regis Infirmary, Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos. He was 89.
Fr. John W. Clark, S.J., 87, died December 19, 2012, at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, Los Gatos. A former Provincial Superior of the California Province and long-time university professor and administrator, he had been a member of the Jesuit order for 66 years, 53 years a priest.

Father Francis X. Wang, S.J., 90, died April 23, 2011 in Regis Infirmary, Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, Los Gatos. He was a Jesuit for 70 years, an ordained priest for 59 years, and a prisoner for the faith for 33 years. He was a member of the China Province.
