Ignatian Spirituality Center, Seattle, Wash.
The Ignatian Spirituality Center is an ecumenical and
interfaith outreach ministry founded in 1994, seeking to serve the spiritual
needs of the people of Western Washington. The Center brings together lay
people, vowed religious, and Jesuits trained in Ignatian and other
spiritualities to provide programs designed to deepen spiritual growth. We
collaborate with Jesuit ministries to provide spiritual direction, programs,
and resources that assist persons of all faiths to serve Christ’s mission of
compassion, healing, and justice.
The peaceful surroundings of The Jesuit Retreat Center of Los Altos invite guests to pause for reflection while enjoying the solitude of quiet, wooded hills. This picturesque setting is ideal for contemplation and spiritual rejuvenation.
There is no one definition for a retreat. The same retreat will mean different things for different people. For everyone, however, it is a time of rest and prayer. A time to grow closer to God.
We offer a variety of retreats — silent and not, for men or women or both, retreats with themes of forgiveness, ways to pray, Ignatian spirituality, to prepare for Christmas or Easter, or perhaps a retreat for a particular group — for example, young adults, veterans, or people in recovery.
Here at The Jesuit Retreat Center, each
retreatant has his or her own private room with a bath, the opportunity to
enjoy 38 hilly, tranquil acres with numerous trails and delicious meals in a
dining room with a view of the whole valley.
The Jesuit Retreat Center of the Sierra is an adult, youth, and family retreat center in Applegate, Placer County, Calif., for nonprofit groups of 20-130 (105 guests overnight; +25 additional beds in summer only).

the village of Applegate (just minutes above Auburn) near the North Fork of the
American River, about 50 miles northeast of Sacramento. Nestled in the
foothills of California’s historic Gold Country, the Retreat is situated on 350
acres covered with oak and pine trees. It offers four miles of hiking
trails overlooking the American River. The area provides a natural environment
